In class, we have been doing research for our future article for our final magazine project, deciding the content we will cover in our final article, and taking inspiration from other magazines to see how we can design our own article. Here are three of the magazine that I like the most to take inspiration from.

The number of images: 6 images
Number of total pages for the article: 2 pages (in total counting both versions in English and Spanish it will be 4 pages)
Description of each image: All the images have a sense of both magical realism and just realistic since it depicts boats, cities, and various transportation vehicles that just had a touch of the ancient drawings of the Maya and the Aztecs, adding that sense of the Latin culture.
Headline: Journey Between the real and the imaginary
Section Title: Vicente Hernandez
Article Font Format: The formal font is a Serif font, most likely Times New Roman
Stylistic Features: each page has at least two columns of text, the pictures being placed in between the text, making the reader not only have a text description
The number of Columns Per Page: 2 columns
The table of content of this magazine is very simple just having the name of the articles and the page numbers. The aspect that makes this magazine so interesting is that it has two versions of the articles they show, one in English and one in Spanish. This made me think that it could be a good idea for me to include this in my magazine project in the future, have a version of the article in English and the other one in Spanish since in my audience survey I had a lot of Hispanics and Latinos as the majority group of the people that where more likely to read it so It would be a great way to make the magazine more inclusive by having it on two of the most spoken languages on my community.

The number of images: 4 images
The number of total pages for the article: 4 pages
Description of each image: These images show a lot since they are not paintings but they are sculptures. Sculptures that are vastly different from each other. Explaining how each one of them came about.
Headline: Profile
Section Title: Mattew Gottschalk
Article Font Format: The font of the magazine is a San Serif font, most probably Arial font.
Stylistic Features: The story of the statues is divided between the four pages of the article. The images have been spread between the pages while showing us the statues and where they are located while seeing them fully.
The number of Columns Per Page: 4-6 columns
This magazine is more balanced than the other, but the table of contents is a bit confusing since the table of contents has one name, and while inside the magazine the articles and the titles are not the same as the table of contents so I had to guide myself through the number of the pages, this could be a problem when the reader tries to search for something in specific and doesn't find it. Otherwise from these problems, the magazine inside is very organized, not over-saturated with images, and presents us with beautiful artwork but it lacks a bit of color that could make it more eye-catching to a reader.
These two magazines have been picked for me since I want to achieve something in the middle, a magazine that is organized inside while reading the articles but also in the table of contents, making it visible enough, to make it eye-catching with colors and shapes but to not over saturated with different images in each page that is all over the place with no apparent pattern to not make it overwhelming to the reader.
